It's at these showcases that the very latest in hardware and software technology are demonstrated to a live audience as well as useful in-depth discussions concerning sequencing, mixing and mastering techniques.
For nearly seven years VIRTU has provided specialised training in the area of eletronic music production and has seen most of the main players in the Irish scene attend the studio at some point for training, support and track mixing services.
Some of the music production software covered by the E.M.P. courses are Ableton Live, Reason, Pro Tools and Cubase with audio editing programs in the form of Bias Peak and Wavelab. With the combined teaching experience of both partners all VIRTU trainees can enjoy hands-on training in small class sizes as well as an invaluable insight into the business of music production from an artiste's point of view.
